 Integrated Radiation/Metal Detector
The Gammatometer™ is a microprocessor controlled highly
sensitive solid state radiation detector and magnetometer.
While an operator is screening for guns, knives and other
weapons the Gammatometer is searching for radioactive materials
that could be found in a nuclear weapon or used to construct
a “dirty bomb” (RDD).
The 9volt battery operated Gammatometer™
detector operates in stand-by mode 24 hours a day sniffing
for the presence of radioactive materials with energy levels
ranging from 20keV to 6.1MeV. The integrated “Nuke”
detector device is designed to detect both X and Gamma radiation
sources.
The digital metal detection circuit
has preset high or low sensitivity settings that can be
adjusted with the touch of a button.
